Adeline "Pua" Giaquinto (nee Gaheton) 90, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. Born in Wailuku, Maui Hawaii to the late Anaclito and Camila Gaheton and moved to Honolulu three years after Pearl Harbor was bombed.

Beloved wife of the late Mario Giaquinto. Devoted mother of Marc Giaquinto, Carl Giaquinto and daughter-in-law Sue Ann Connelly. Loving grandmother of Max and Emily Giaquinto. Dear sister of Trudy O'Brien and Evangeline Leilani Fox.

Adeline attended the Metropolitan Opera Ballet School under Margaret Craske and Alfredo Corveno of The Ballet Rousse de Monte Carlo. In 1954, she joined the Broadway Production of "Kismet"  at the Ziegfield Theater  and went on tour with the show. She joined the National Co. later as Dance Captain In Summer Stock, she arranged dance numbers and danced the role of "Eliza" in the "KIng & I". She worked with jazz masters, Jack Cole, Matt Matox and Rod Alexander.

In 1958, she appeared in the CBS TV Special "Aladdin" starring Sal Mineo, Anna Marie Alberghetti, and Basil Rathbone. She sailed to Paris on the last voyage of the "Ile de Franco" and was part of the Gala entertainment. Adeline spent four months in Europe and three months in Canada appearing in night clubs, military bases, and TV as part of a variety show. She also worked as an assistant to magician, "The Amazing Randi".

Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi Chapel 215 Kipp Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, July 5th at 10 AM. Private cremation will follow.  Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.
