Agata DeRuvo "Nina" (nee DeGennaro) 82, of Little Ferry formerly of Hoboken passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy to the late Francesco and Francesca DeGennaro and came to the United States in 1973. Nina settled in Hoboken with her husband Giovanni where they raised their two boys and then in 1998 moved to Little Ferry. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hoboken and a member of the Devotees Madonna dei Martiri. Before retiring, Nina was a seamstress in the Hoboken garment industry. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni DeRuvo. Devoted mother of Giuseppe DeRuvo and his wife Mary Lynn and Francesco DeRuvo and his wife Francine. Dear sister of Domenico DeGennaro, Ottavia Gianfrancesco and the late Sergio and Pasquale DeGennaro. Cherished nonna of Joseph, Christopher, Giavanna, Antonio and John. Also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and far. Funeral Liturgy from St. Francis R.C. Church in Hoboken on Wednesday, June 1st at 10 AM. (All to meet at the church). Entombment following at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee. Visitation Tuesday, May 31st from 4-8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights.
