Obituary

Alfonso F. Mastrofilipo, Sr. 88, of Lodi passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born in Hackensack to the late Carmella (Mildred) and Thomas Mastrofilipo. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Before retiring, Al was the owner of Windsor Gardens (the former North Pole Restaurant) in Lodi for many years. He served as a Councilman and Council President for the Borough of Lodi and was a former member of the Lions Club in Lodi and the B.P.O.Elks Lodge #1962 in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Bacco) Mastrofilipo. Devoted father of Alfonso F. Mastrofilipo, Jr. and his wife Kerry and a step father of Salvatore (JR) Guerrieri and his wife Lea and Jennifer Fredericks and her husband Chris. Dear brother of the late Louise Tino and Nicholas Mastrofilipo and his surviving spouse Dawn. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Alexander, Christopher and his wife Cate, Victoria, Sienna and Sarina. Brother-in-law to Judy Singer and her late husband Wayne. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.


Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, August 11th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lodi at 10 AM. Interment following at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation Sunday, August 10th from 3 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
