Ann Basile (nee Balassone) 95, of Wood-Ridge passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born in Jersey City to the late Anna and August Balassone. Before retiring, Ann was a secretary for the Wood-Ridge Board of Education. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady, a member of the Rosary Society and the Contemporary Club all in Wood-Ridge. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Basile. Devoted mother of William Basile and his wife Susan, Janet Suter and her husband Pat, Thomas Basile and his wife Tammie and Lynn Rose-Vitovitch and her husband Martin. Dear sister of Arthur Balassone and the late August. Loving grandmother of ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two on the way. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge on Tuesday, June 28th at 11:30 AM. (All to meet at church). Private cremation will follow. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to your favorite charity would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
