Anthony J. Niosi a longtime resident of Hasbrouck Heights and Monterey Beach passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 12, 2021. Tony was born in Carlstadt in 1932 to Carmelo and Frances Niosi. Tony graduated from St. Mary's High School in Rutherford. He was a proud Navy veteran who joined the U.S. Navy upon graduation. He loved telling stories of his time with the Service, especially while stationed in Key West. Tony was active in Hasbrouck Heights, having served on the Zoning Board for many years as well as a longtime member and twice past president of the Kiwanis Club, a member of the First Monday Club and the Monterey Beach Club. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and with his family at the Jersey Shore. Tony is survived by his loving wife of sixty years Jean. Devoted father to daughter Christine and her husband Peter Mackinson. Cherished grandfather to Conor and Thomas and his grand dogs Lizzy and Riley. Brother to Constance Conoscenti and Uncle to Dr. Craig Conoscenti. Due to the Pandemic, Funeral Services will be for family only. A Celebration of Tony's Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans at dav.org in Tony's memory would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
