Augusta E. Bello (nee Lunardoni) 98, of Lodi, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Born in West Hoboken ( now Union City ) to the late Giuseppe and Augusta Lunardoni. After graduating from Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing, she worked as a registered nurse for more than 40 years. Augusta was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church in Lodi and a Lodi Senior Citizens Club member. Beloved wife of the late Michael G. Bello. Devoted mother of Michael T. Bello and his wife Lisa Lombardi-Bello, Thomas L. Bello and his significant other May Ellington, and Gina Bello and her significant other Jack Mulcahy. Dear youngest sister of the late Americo, Zoe Steencken, Ada (Cumiskey) Hutcheon, Louis, Joseph and Santo Lunardoni. Loving grandmother of India Lombardi-Bello. Revered aunt of many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law of Frieda Bello. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church Lodi on Saturday, November 20th at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Augusta may be made to the United Hospice 11 Stokum Lane New City, NY 10956 (unitedhospiceinc.org).
