Barbara A. Capozzoli (nee Trzeciak) 78, of Jersey City passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Born in Jersey City to the late Walter and Helen Trzeciak. Before retiring, Barbara was a Director at the Joseph Connors Senior Center in Jersey City. Devoted mother of Vincent Capozzoli and his wife Saveria, Stephen Capozzoli and his wife Roberta and Danielle Capozzoli. Loving grandmother of Lucas, Giuseppe, Isabella and Giuliana. She was an energetic and enthusiastic woman that loved life. Barbara made friends everywhere she went with her million dollar smile and her thoughtful soul. People everywhere always stopped to talk with her. She was an amazing and selfless mom that wanted only the best for her children and each grandchild made her heart dance with joy and filled her with even more reason to live her life to the fullest. She lived life for her children and her grandchildren and took pleasure rooting them on at every sporting event. She loved the warm weather and enjoyed her annual trip to Wildwood Crest where she would bask in the glory of the sun and indulge in eating ice cream at Duffers. She had many longtime friends that she loved like her family and enjoyed spending time catching up on the phone or in person with them. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, January 22nd at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Friday, January 21st from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home.
