Barbara A. Ferris (nee Freeman) 83, of Lyndhurst entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 6, 2021 in Passaic. A life-long resident of Lyndhurst, she enjoyed a long-time career at PSE&G in Newark, retiring in 1988. Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Friedel and her husband George of Hasbrouck Heights, as well as the "loves of her life", her granddaughter, Morgan Barbara, her grandson, Connor George, and step-granddaughter, Leigh-Ann (Jeff) of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Eleanor Freeman, of Easton, PA; her nephew, Herb C. Freeman and his family of Calhoun Falls, SC; and her niece, Claire Karthaeuser and her family of Easton, PA. Beloved cousin of Lois Butz, Bob Butz, Janette Easton and Edward Schenk and their families. Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Herb D. Freeman (2005) as well as her long-time companion, Robert Kinna (2006). She also leaves behind her grand-dog, Weezy.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor to all who knew her. She loved her family dearly. She battled Dementia in her final years and is now, finally, at peace.

Visitation Wednesday, August 11th from 4-7 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights. Masks are required upon entering the funeral home. Her final resting place will be in the family plot in Lawrence, MA.
