Beatrice Warchol (nee Timinski) 106, a lifelong resident of Lodi passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Born in Lodi to the late Helen and Adam Timinski on March 7, 1918. She was a graduate of Hackensack High School, Montclair University where she received her B.A. Degree and from Columbia University where she received her M.A. Degree. Before retiring, Beatrice was a teacher at the Lodi High School for 48 years and a member of the Lodi, the Bergen County, the New Jersey, the National and the New Jersey Retirees Education Associations. She was also a trustee for the Lodi Board of Education, a member of the Lodi Memorial Library Board, the Felician Sisters Associates in Lodi and a member and officer of the Women's Club, the AARP and the Senior Citizens Club all in Lodi. Beatrice was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Passaic and St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church in Lodi.
Beloved wife of the late Albin A. Warchol. Devoted mother of Marilyn LoPresti and her husband Charles, Janice Savoia and her husband Joseph and Alison Warchol. Dear sister of the late Alexander and Henry Timinski. Loving grandmother of Adam LoPresti and his wife Kathryn, Kevin LoPresti and his wife Kelly, Courtney Savoia and her fiance Paul Baldovin and Amanda Ehalt and her husband Brian. Cherished great grandmother of Addison, Charlie, Olivia, Chloe, and Grace LoPresti. Cherished aunt of her nieces and nephews. Beatrice will also be missed by Sean, John and of course Trudy.
Beatrice received the Key to the Borough of Lodi when she turned 100 and in 2023 was honored with the Bea Warchol Reading Lounge at the Lodi Memorial Library.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, March 21st at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Holy Rosary R.C. Church 6 Wall St. Passaic at 10 AM. Entombment following at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Saddle Brook. Visitation Wednesday, March 20th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Lodi Memorial Library or to the Felician Sisters Associates of Lodi c/o Sister Angelica would be appreciated.
