Betty Ann Dates (nee Jones) 93, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. Born in Hackensack to the late Gladys M. and Walter H. Jones, Sr. Betty was a graduate of the Holy Name School of Nursing. Before retiring, she was a registered nurse and also a Eucharistic Minister and an organist at Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights and at the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Dates. Devoted mother of Michael Dates and his wife Michele, Kathleen Dates, Mary Ellen Dates and her former husband Joseph Flimlin, Maureen Dates Levy and her husband Larry, Claire McGowan and her husband John, Kevin Dates, Margaret Dates and her partner Michael Reid and the late Peter Dates and his wife Joanne. Dear sister of the late Walter H. Jones, Jr., Robert Jones and Gladys Van Langen. Loving grandmother of Jason (Danette), Todd (Toni), Rhea (Jeremy), Mary (Stephanie), Matthew, Brendan (Amanda), Heather (Wes), Thomas (Dani), Shawn (Stella), Devin (Kristin), Erica (VJ), Jack, Braydon, Zackery and Vienna Skye. Cherished great grandmother of eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, April 26th at 10 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights at 11 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Tuesday, April 25th from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
