Beverly
Deluca
April 2, 1930 — May 31, 2021
Beverly DeLuca (nee Sistaro) of Lodi, NJ, passed away on May 31, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born April 2, 1930, in Saddle Brook, NJ to the late Anthony and Ursula Sistaro.
Beloved wife of the late Charles DeLuca, Jr., (2013). Devoted mother of Chuck and his wife Barbara, daughter Sharon Albonico and husband Darryl, and son Barry and his wife Nancy.
Beverly was the dear sister to the late Michael and Warren Sistaro and Virginia Mitchell.
Loving Grandmother to Michelle and Chrissy DeLuca, Amanda Stueben and her husband Derek, DJ Albonico and Christian DeLuca. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friend and sister-in-law to Marie DeLuca.
Beverly graduated from Lodi High School and became an executive secretary at D&S Processing Co. of Clifton where she met her lifelong friend, Alice Wright.
Beverly was a dedicated wife and mother. After raising her children, she co-owned and ran Associated Gift Shoppe in Hasbrouck Heights for many years where she met and became friends with all who entered her store.
Beverly was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Hasbrouck Heights where she regularly attended Saturday evening mass with her "church friends".
After retiring from the gift shop, Beverly spent her life helping to raise and love her grandchildren. After her husband passed away, Beverly remained independent and was the center of her family. She was part of every holiday or special occasion. She was so moved and proud to watch the livestream of her granddaughter's wedding last summer.
She recently celebrated her 9lst birthday and was the center of attention.
Beverly's love for us and our love for her will always be in our hearts. To know Beverly is to read the caption under her picture in her high school yearbook: Beverly "Full of Mirth and Joy." Rest in peace Mom.
