Brigida DeCandia (nee Gadaleta) 91, of Wallington formerly of Hoboken passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Born in Molfetta, Bari Italy to the late Damiana and Giovanni Gadaleta and came to the United States in 1948. Before retiring, Brigida was a seamstress and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington. Beloved wife of Corrado DeCandia. Devoted mother of Catina Gaber and her husband Guss and Joann Chamberlin and her husband John. Dear sister of the late Angela Uva. Loving grandmother of Ghazi Gaber and his wife Eva, Ashley Surman and her husband Ron and Dean Gaber. Cherished great grandmother of Anastasia and Alessandro Gaber and Ronnie and Isla Surman.
