Carl C. Borntrager 85, of Maywood passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024. Born in New York City to the late Grace and Constantine Borntrager. Carl was an Army veteran serving in Korea from 1958-1960. Before retiring, he was the owner of Rochelle Park Auto Body in Rochelle Park for sixty years. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Borntrager. Devoted father of Stacey Borntrager- Briones, Scott Borntrager, Steven Borntrager and Kurt Borntrager. Dear brother of Elizabeth Borntrager Brown and the late Henry and Martin John Borntrager. Loving grandfather of Devyn Briones, Ava Borntrager, Steven Borntrager and Emery Borntrager. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Carl enjoyed gardening and working outdoors in the country. He loved his German Shepherds, loved to feed the birds, and restoring hot rod cars. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed collecting beer steins. Carl enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, April 24th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Maywood at 10 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Tuesday, April 23rd from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
