Carol F. Viceconte (nee Switzer) 87, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Carol was born in New York City to the late Irene and Francis Switzer. She started her career as an administrative assistant to the Vice Chairman at J Walter Thompson moving to a senior administrative role with a boutique investment bank, De Sainte Phalle Spalding, both in NY, before leaving the workforce to raise a family. Carol continued her career with several administrative roles, including in the rectory at Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights and Stern's Department Store in Paramus. She retired as an administrative assistant at Honeywell in Teterboro.

She was a faithful parishioner of Corpus Christi where she was a Trustee, a member of the Rosary Society, was actively involved with Birthright, and participated in countless fundraising and church social activities. Carol was also a key volunteer for the Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry, and prior to that worked for a number of years in various roles with Meals With a Mission in Garfield.

Carol was a loving wife of the late Anthony L. Viceconte. Their wonderful 56-year marriage was a model of devotion and a function of their shared faith and belief in the value of and commitment to family. She was a devoted mother of James F. Viceconte and his wife, Bryn Dolan, Peter Viceconte and his wife, Kathleen, and Christopher Viceconte and his wife, Marianne. She is predeceased by her dear sisters, Joan O'Brien and Linda Casal, and her brother, Francis "Buddy" Switzer. She was a loving grandmother of Christopher, Nicholas, Alec, Ryan and his wife, Lauren Shivs, Mary Kate, Sarah, Claire and Evan. She was the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

We will remember Carol most for her sense of purpose, her positive, can-do attitude and her devout faith. Carol was loved by so many members of the community and will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, September 18th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Visitation Wednesday, September 17th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River in memory of Carol F. Viceconte would be appreciated.
