Catherine Vernieri (nee Cappiello) 90, of Saddle Brook formerly of Palisades Park passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Born in N.Y., N.Y. to the late Louis and Mary Cappiello. Before retiring, Catherine was a Warehouse manager for Lola Products in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Saddle Brook and a member of the Rosary Society. Catherine was also a member of the Senior Citizens in Saddle Brook. Beloved wife of the late Roland Vernieri. Devoted mother of Barbara Mackenzie and her husband Robert. Dear sister of Helen Konovitch and the late Joseph and Theodore Connotillo and Louis, George and James Cappiello. Loving grandmother of Robert Mackenzie, II and his wife Lauren. Cherished great grandmother of Sloane and Dean. Catherine was a wonderful aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy from St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church Saddle Brook on Monday, August 16th at 9:30 AM. (All to meet at church). Interment following at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visitation Sunday, August 15th from 2-5 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights.
