Charles "Chip" Giamo

Charles "Chip"  Giamo 81, of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born in Passaic to the late Giovannina "Jean" and Charles Giamo and was raised in Garfield. Chip received his Bachelors Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his Masters Degree from William Paterson University. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War serving from 1968-1970. Before retiring, Chip was an accountant at M&M Mars Company in Hackettstown, NJ. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Margo (nee Brady) Giamo. Devoted father of Chris Giamo and his wife Betsy and Mark Giamo and his wife Terri. Dear brother of Joseph Giamo and the late Donald Giamo and his surviving spouse Pat. Brother-in-law of Denise DiMicelli and her late husband Tom. Chip was a loving and proud grandfather of Matthew, Jack, Mason and Miles and attended all of their Lacrosse, soccer and golf games. A cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Chip was a surrogate for foster children where he was a volunteer at CASA of Bergen County in Hackensack for more than 20 years and a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was a former coach for the Hasbrouck Heights Little League and enjoyed summer vacations at the Jersey shore and spending time with family and friends in Sarasota, Florida.

 Visitation on Wednesday, July 29th from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, July 30th at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to CASA of Bergen County at 1 Bergen County Plaza Hackensack, NJ 07601.
