Charlotte M. Schlindwein (nee Dietrich) 88, of Saddle Brook went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 29, 2022. Born in New York City to the late William and Charlotte Dietrich. Beloved wife of the late Julius Fred Schlindwein. Devoted mother of Eileen Den Bleyker and her late husband Kevin and Patricia Harper. Dear sister of Inge Kerlin and her husband Dorsie and the late William Dietrich. Loving grandmother of Kristin Smith and her husband Michael, Beth Spinda and her husband Matthew, Michael Huddy and his wife Adrienne, Daemen Den Bleyker, Rebecca Harper and Jay Harper. Cherished great grandmother of Madeleine and Calvin Smith and Ryan Spinda and Abigail and Alexandria Amuck. Charlotte was kind and generous and gave selflessly not only to her family whom she deeply treasured but to her church and community. Charlotte was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and spent many hours knitting and crocheting items for the church, the Seaman's Institute for Sailors, Holy Name Hospital Cancer Center, Hackensack Hospital Auxiliary, and other organizations. In earlier years, Charlotte was a troop leader with the Girl Scouts. Before retiring, Charlotte worked as a Claims Manager for New Jersey Life Insurance Company.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, August 4th at 11 AM. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hasbrouck Heights at 12 Noon. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Wednesday, August 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
