Concetta "Connie" Malizia (nee Russo) 97, of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of the Bronx passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Born in New York City to the late Josephine and Saverio Russo. Connie was a hairdresser at Claude's Beauty Shop in Mount Vernon , NY and was a school crossing guard. She was a member of the Leisure Club in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved wife of the late Albert Malizia. Devoted mother of Joyce Capitanello and her husband Vincent Capitanello, Michael Malizia and his late wife Antoinette Malizia and Marie Kistner and her husband Councilman Ron Kistner. Dear sister of Marie Morrone and the late Rose LaPidus. Loving grandmother of James and Sandy Capitanello, Nicholas Capitanello, Amanda and Saverio Minervini, Michael and Danielle Malizia, Bob and Danielle Kistner and Nicholas Malizia and partner Nicholas Crisci. Cherished great grandmother of seven great grandchildren.

Church 260 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights at 9:30 AM. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. Visitation Wednesday, November 30th from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
