Deanna Jean Mooney (nee Raese) 63, of Maywood passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Born in Amarillo, Tx. to the late Carmen and Edward Raese. Deanna was a 1982 graduate of Central Michigan University and a member of the Phi Chi Theta Fraternity when she took a trip with her fraternity sisters to New York City and fell in love with the city and knew this is where she wanted to live. She was a teacher's aide at St. Peter's Academy in River Edge. Deanna was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, a member of the Rosary Society and was also a member of the Woman's Club all in Maywood. Beloved wife of Ken Mooney. Devoted mother of Matthew Mooney and Kathleen Mooney. Dear sister of Thomas Raese, Laura Yacobellis and her late husband Rick, Mary Milam and her husband Ken and Sara Garchow and her husband Dale. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, August 1st at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Maywood at 10 AM. Cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory. Visitation Monday, July 31st from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
