Deborah P. Mottershead (nee Doherty) 75, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. Born in New York City to the late  Nora and Peter Doherty. Before retiring, Deborah was an administrative assistant for A.I.G. in Jersey City. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Mottershead. Devoted mother of Erin O'Brien and Michael Mottershead and his wife Marisa. Dear sister of Gerald Doherty, Maureen Urmanowicz, Denise Oakley, Susan Doherty, Lee Helleu, Bryan Doherty and the late Peter and William Doherty. Loving grandmother of Robert, Sean, Dylan, Ian, Liam, Reese and Bryn. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, September 19th at 8:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 9:30 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Thursday, September 18th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to the American Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
