Dominic L. Jengo 88, of Maywood passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. Born in Jersey City to the late Michael and Victoria Jengo. Dominic received his Bachelors Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 142 in Maywood and the Jedh C. Baker Marine Corps League Detachment 1211. Dominic was the owner of National Freight Audit in Hackensack, a company he established in 1985. He was a member of the Maywood Rotary Club and served as the District Governor for Rotary District 7490 from 2008-2009 exemplifying Service Above Self, the Rotary motto and also served on the Board of Education and the Shade Tree Commission both in Maywood. As the patriarch of our family, his loss is felt far and wide. Beloved husband of 55 years to Nancy M. (nee Mangullo) Jengo. Devoted father of David Jengo and his wife Shaunna and Pamela Jengo. Dear brother of Antoinette Jengo, Marie Santoro and the late Lorraine Oriani. Loving grandfather of Dominic Anthony Jengo. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, December 23rd at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Maywood at 10 AM.
