Dominick DiBuono 96, of Little Ferry passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Born in Jersey City to the late Antoinette and Pietro DiBuono. He was a Merchant Marine during W.W.II, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 809 and a member of the American Legion Post 310 both in Little Ferry. Before retiring, Dominick was a truck driver for Continental Can Co. in South Hackensack and a member of the Teamsters Union Locals 560 and 807. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church in Little Ferry, a life member of the New Milford - Teaneck B.P.O.Elks Lodge 2290 and a member of the Maria S.S. Del Buoncammino Society in North Bergen. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Panachino) DiBuono. Devoted father of Peter and Sharon DiBuono. Dear brother of Elizabeth "Chickie" Strongin and the late Anthony DiBuono, Angela "Lilly" Guarracino, Mary Rovetto, Charles DiBuono and Thomas "Sonny" DiBuono. Loving grandfather of Tara Mickendrow and her husband Michael, Jr. and Ashley Sacks and her husband Michael. Cherished great grandfather of Mikey Dominick Mickendrow, Grayson Lucas Sacks, Parker James Sacks and the late Jagger-Thor Mickendrow.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, June 6th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church in Little Ferry at 10 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday, June 5th from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project www.woundedwarriorsproject.org or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
