Dominick M. Donato "Fritz" 87, of Toms River formerly of Jersey City passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Born in Jersey City to the late Rose and Victor Donato. Dominick was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Before retiring, he worked in Security for the Jersey City Board of Education and previously, he was a machinist at the American Can Company in Jersey City. Loving companion of Kay Smith. Devoted father of Stephen Donato and his wife Kathleen and Michael Donato and his wife Kathy. Dear brother of Anthony Donato and his wife Loretta and the late Louis Donato and his surviving spouse Louise. Loving grandfather of Stephen J. Donato and his wife Natalie, Lauren Donato, Michael Donato and Nicholas Donato. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, December 12th at 9:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge at 10:30 AM. Interment following at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation Sunday, December 11th from 1-5 PM at the funeral home.
