Dorothy L. Petroulas (nee Leverage) 91, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in Chestertown, MD. to the late Mary and Irving Leverage. Dorothy was a 1952 graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, MD., a 1954 graduate of Cornell School of Nursing and a 1979 graduate of Rutgers University where she received her Masters Degree in Nursing.  Before retiring, Dorothy served as a Director for the Nutley Home Health Care Agency and previously, she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of Christ First United Methodist Church in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Petroulas. Devoted mother of Susan Petroulas, Christina Schmidt and her husband Raymond and James Petroulas and his wife Susan Kizer. Dear sister of Margaret "Peggy" Hopkins. Loving grandmother of Kevin and his wife Diana, Laura, Alexander and Katerina. Cherished great grandmother of Micah.

Funeral Service at Christ First United Methodist Church in Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, March 20th at 10 AM. (All to meet at church). Reverend Hyoik Kim officiating. Interment following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation Tuesday, March 19th from 4 - 8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights.
