Edward Buwalda 92, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Born in Prospect Park to the late Henrietta and Edward Buwalda. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving from 1953 - 1955. Before retiring, Edward was a grocery specialist for Wakefern Food Corporation in Elizabeth. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Strunck) Buwalda. Devoted father of Debra Caggiano and her husband Allan, Sharon Bunone and her husband Paul and Brenda Jones and her husband Robert. Dear brother of Donald Buwalda and the late Bill and John Buwalda and Dorothy Schmidt. Loving grandfather of Blaise (Gina), Wade (Annalise), Kasey (Brian), Jess (Greg), Samantha (Andrew), Kayla and Katie. Cherished great grandfather of Lily, Jaxon, Mya, Brendan, Savannah, Micah and Scarlett.

Funeral Services and entombment will be private at The Garden of Memories in the Township of Washington. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
