Eileen F. Diverio (nee Flynn) (95) of Maywood, NJ passed away on March 14, 2023.  She was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of John and Aurora (Benoit) Flynn.  She was predeceased in 2013 by her husband of 61 years, Ralph J. Diverio and her son, Stephen in February, 2023.  She is survived by their children Mark of Hackensack, Paul of Ringwood and Boynton Beach, Florida, Anne Marie (and her husband Raymond Marquis) of Cape Cod, MA, Philip of Howell, Susan of Martha's Vineyard, MA, and her daughter-in-law Rosemary of Battle Creek, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchldren.

Eileen was a graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston and a member of the Alumni Association.  She was also the Area I director of the National Reserve Officers Association League; secretary of the NJ Chapter of the RCAL; and founding member of the US Coast Guard NJ Chapter Ladies Association.

Eileen was an active member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Maywood, NJ for 66 years, serving as President of the Rosary Society, Secretary of the Parish Council, Adult Advisor to the Catholic Youth Organization of the parish, a Girl Scout Leader, and dedicated member of the Mothers Guild of the parish grammar school for 19 years.

Visitation will be at Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ on Wednesday, March 22 ^nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with the Wake Service at 8:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 23 ^rd at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Maywood.  Interment will take place at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah immediately following the Mass.
