Elaine E. Passanante (nee Sapio) of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of Jersey City passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2025 with her family at her side. Born in Jersey City to the late Mary and Anthony Sapio. Before retiring, Elaine was a cashier for Shop Rite Supermarket in Hasbrouck Heights and then in Lodi for thirty-two years. Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Passanante, Jr. Devoted mother of Frank C. Passanante, III and his wife Donna, Denise M. Passanante-Puzino and Robert A. Passanante. Dear sister of the late Anna Brown and Viola O'Malley. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Frank IV, Laura, Mark, Robert and Joseph.

A Mass will be offered at Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, September 2nd at 12 Noon. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington. Visitation for immediate family members only. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
