Elisabetta De Cesare (nee Gadaleta) 89, of Waldwick formerly of Wood-Ridge, Weehawken and Hoboken passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Born in Molfetta, Bari Italy to the late Rosa and Cosmo Gadaleta and came to the United States in 1959. Before retiring, Elisabetta was a seamstress for Jersey Made Fashions in Hoboken. Beloved wife of the late Mauro De Cesare. Devoted mother of Vito De Cesare, a 1982 graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and his wife Lucia and Anna Kataryniak, a 1995 graduate of Rutgers University College of Pharmacy and her husband Steven. Dear sister of Stefano Gadaleta and his wife Nella, Giovanni Gadaleta and his wife Porzia and the late Sabina Raguseo, Nicoletta Bruno, Nina Capurso and Damiano Gadaleta. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Zachary, Natalie and Alexander.

Funeral Liturgy from St. Luke's R.C. Church in Ho-Ho-Kus on Thursday, May 18th at 11am. (All to meet at church). Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday, May 17th from 3-7 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights.
