Ernest J. Gentile 78, of Little Ferry passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Born in Hoboken to the late Jean and Ernest Gentile. Before retiring, he was the owner of Tenafly Getty in Tenafly. Husband of the late Frances (nee DeCarlo) Gentile. Father of Jessica Gentile and her husband Christopher Ghostlaw. Brother of Virginia Porcaro and her late husband Don and the late Robert Gentile and his surviving wife Diane. Grandfather of Damien. Ernest was also a loving uncle and great uncle.

A Mass will be offered at St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church in Little Ferry on Friday, July 18th at 10 AM. Cremation was private. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
