Ernest Troisi 93, a lifelong resident of Union City passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Born in Union City to the late Pellegrino and Virginia Troisi. He was an Army veteran of W.W.II serving from 1946-1948 and was a member of the American Legion Post in Weehawken. Before retiring, Ernest was a maintenance worker for N.J. Transit in Hoboken. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia (nee Greens) Troisi. Devoted father of Donna Wipper and Virginia Brown and her husband Kevin. Loving grandfather of Dawn, Kimberly, Brittni, Matthew, Taylor and Danny. Cherished great grandfather of Tyler and Isabella. Ernest is predeceased by his eight brothers and sisters. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, October 2nd at 11 AM. Entombment following at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington. Visitation Saturday from 9 AM-11 AM at the funeral home.
