Giovanni "John" Iurato

Giovanni "John" Iurato of Brick formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on his 82nd Birthday on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Born in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily Italy to the late Francesca and Francesco Iurato and came to the United States in 1968. Giovanni served in the Italian Army. Before retiring, he was a mason contractor for Iurato & Sons in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved husband of the late Carmela (nee Dimartino) Iurato. Devoted father of Maria Incremona and her husband Jerry, Frank Iurato and his fiance Deborah Testa and Rosanna Guido and her husband Dan. Dear brother of Tina and Carmela Iurato. Loving Nonno of Philip (Albana), Darren (Sarah), Michael (Genesis), John (Julia), Deanna (Kevin), Frankie, Jenna, Daniel, Leah and Tyler and a great grandfather of August, Leo and Sonny. 

Funeral from Costa Memorial home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, June 5th at 9:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lodi at 10:30 AM. Entombment following at St. Mary's Cemetery & Mausoleum, Saddle Brook. Visitation Thursday, June 4th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
