Giovanni Minervini 84, of Little Ferry NJ formerly of Hoboken NJ was called from God on Friday, April 12, 2024. Born in Molfetta, Bari Italy, to the late Marta Maria and Pantaleo Minervini and came to the United States in 1963. Formerly, Giovanni was Vice-President of Operations for Cunningham Marine Hydraulics in Hoboken NJ. Beloved husband of Maria S. (nee Angione) Minervini. Devoted father to Marta Minervini-Evelich and her husband Ronald, Leo Minervini and his wife Cristina and Carmela Minervini-Barrera and her husband Salvatore. Dear brother of Anna Colucci and the late Pia Mazzola and Mauro Minervini. Loving grandfather of Ronald Evelich, Sofia Evelich, Valentina Minervini, Alessia Minervini and Lea Barrera.
Giovanni was the rock of his family, a truly devoted family man. His joys came from making memories with his family, enjoying the waters of fishing, Sunday trips to the casino and watching soccer while sipping espresso with his friends. He was "molto gentile" e "bravo con tutti". He touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, April 18th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church Little Ferry at 10 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday, April 17th from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
