HASBROUCK HEIGHTS- Hedwig "Hedi" Giangarra (nee Saalfrank) 100, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Born in Issigau, Germany to the late Anna and Hans Saalfrank and came to the United States in 1949. Hedi was a supervising underwriter for Royal Globe Insurance Company in New York City. She was a member of the Leisure Club in Hasbrouck Heights and was an avid international traveler. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Giangarra. Dear sister of Balda Saalfrank. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews in Staten Island and Port St. Lucie, Fl. Funeral Service at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue  Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, July 20th at 10:30 AM. Reverend Susan Nelson-Colaneri officiating. Interment following at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visitation Friday, July 19th from 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home.
