Helen Mary Finn Foster, 91 years old, of Raleigh, formally of Maywood, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on April17, 2025. Helen was born in New York City, NY on October 26, 1933, to the late Dr. Richard William Finn and Helen Furlong Finn.

Helen leaves behind a legacy of love, sophistication and joyful living. Born and raised in Castle Village, Manhattan, she attended Mother Cabrini High School and Marymount College. She proudly spent over 40 years as a medical office manager.

Helen was a devoted mother to her four sons and their wives, and a beloved Nana to six grandchildren, all of whom adored her. Cherished Aunt to Michelle and her daughters as well as the Finn and McDonald cousins. A lover of animals, gardening and the arts, she found joy in Broadway, classical music and fine dining.

In retirement, she built a rich life in Raleigh, surrounded by dear friends on Southwalk Lane. Helen will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and deep love she shared with those around her.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis G. Foster, in 1994. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Francis G. Foster, Jr. and his wife Caroline, Dr. Richard M. Foster and his wife Nancy, Lawrence D. Foster and his wife Taryn, and Brian W. Foster and his wife, Sara; her grandchildren, Ryan Foster and his wife Anna, Kevin Foster, Lauren Hu and her husband Kevin, Fallon Creta and her husband Alec, Kyle Foster and Braden Foster.

A Mass was offered at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Interment followed. Local arrangements were by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
