James "Jim" F. Trapp

James "Jim" F. Trapp 74, of Saddle Brook formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. Born in Jersey City to the late Regina and Eugene Trapp. Before retiring, Jim owned Jim Trapp LLC., a home improvement company, in Saddle Brook. 

Beloved husband of Linda (nee Heinz) Trapp. Devoted father of Meredith Thomas and her husband Dafydd and the late Eric Trapp. Dear brother of Claire Kwiatkowski and her husband Gordon, Marilyn Rogalski and her husband Bernard, Marjorie Seligmuller and her husband Ronald, Thomas Trapp and his wife Michele, Donald Trapp and the late Robert, George and Richard Trapp. Loving grandfather of Natalie, Gwyneth and Lorelei. Jim is also survived by his nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Service at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, August 8th at 11:30 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Friday, August 7th from 3 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
