Janice Ann Essmyer (nee Sarapa) 70, a lifelong resident of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Born in Hackensack to the late Frances and Michael Sarapa. Janice was a graduate of the Hackensack Medical Center School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She was a member of The First Reformed Church in Hasbrouck Heights. Janice is survived by her longtime loving partner, Bill Wetzler. Devoted mother of Joan Blendowski and her husband David and Lea Zablocki and her husband Keith. Dear sister of Arleen Sarapa, Joan Gresham, Michael and J. Mark Sarapa. Loving grandmother of David Jr. and Michael Blendowski. Cherished aunt of Lindsey Gresham and Keith Gresham. Funeral Service at The First Reformed Church in Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, January 13th at 11 AM. (All to meet at church). Reverend Debbie Rundecker officiating. Private cremation will follow. Visitation at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, January 12th from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The First Reformed Church P.O.
