Obituary

Jason Michael Campaiola, 45, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on January 27, 2024. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa  on July 1, 1978.  He lived in Dix Hills, Long Island until moving to New Jersey in 2005, eventually settling in Hasbrouck Heights.  Jason, a cherished husband, loving father, devoted NY Jets, Mets and Islanders fan, enjoyed history and music.  His passion was playing the saxophone with his father and brothers, known as "the Campaiola band" in their music room .  He loved a nice scotch and cigar by the fire during the summer months after a long day of swimming in the pool.  He worked as a financial investigator at Finra.

Jason's heart found its truest joy in the love he shared with his wife, Alexandria, of 18 years.  They met at Seton Hall University in 1998.  Their bond was a testament of enduring love that enriched their lives together.  That bond was only surpassed by the love he had for their two girls, Isabella and Alexa.  He was a girl dad, always so present at every dance recital, sporting event or school activity.  Jason was the dad on the side aisle videotaping every minute.

Jason's kindness and positivity left an incredible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.  While he may no longer be with us, his love and vibrant spirit will forever echo in our hearts.  He bravely battled sarcoma for the past 8 months.

He is also survived by his mother, Paula (nee Ombres) Campaiola and the late Dr. John Campaiola; brothers Michael and John; inlaws Philip and Josephine Papa and brother in law, Anthony.  He had many cherished uncles, aunts and cousins.
