Jean Niosi

Jean Niosi (nee DelVecchio) 90, a longtime resident of Hasbrouck Heights and Monterey Beach, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Jean was the daughter of the late Arnold and Mary DelVecchio and was raised in Hackensack. She was a graduate of Hackensack High School and began her career working for the County Of Bergen. She spent over 35 years in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court at the County.

Jean was married to her husband, Tony, a Navy veteran on July 4, 1960. They settled and built their home in Hasbrouck Heights. Jean loved her family, her career and spending time at the Jersey Shore. She spent the last 5 years living at Brandywine Mahwah where she has a close circle of friends who became like family and where she enjoyed life to the fullest.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Tony (2021). She is survived by her daughter Christine Mackinson and her husband Peter. Cherished grandchildren Conor Mackinson and his wife Rosanna, and Thomas Mackinson. As well as grand dogs Lizzy and Riley.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, April 29th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Entombment following at St. Nicholas Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation Tuesday, April 28th from 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
