Joan E. Turner (nee Semenza) 91, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Born in Hoboken to the late Veronica and Edward Semenza. Before retiring, Joan was an Executive Manager for Volvo in Rockleigh. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights for fifty-two years. Joan was a former State Regent and Regent for the Catholic Daughters of America Court Rosemary. Beloved wife of Gilbert Turner. Dear sister of the late Veronica Hessner and her late husband Roy and the late Edward Semenza and his late wife Doris. Sister-in-law of the late Alfred Turner, Sr. and his surviving wife Jill. Loving aunt of Alfred Turner, Jr. and his wife Debbie, Cheryl Hourican and her husband Scott, Karen Moliero and her husband Michael, Nicole Tergesen and her husband Travis and Brian Turner. Joan was a proud animal lover to twenty-two cats and dogs all but two strays during her lifetime.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, March 1st at 10:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 11:30 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Tuesday, February 28th from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children would be appreciated.
