Jorge Matos 63, of Lodi passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. Born in Lisbon, Portugal to the late Manuel and Judite Matos and came to the United States in 1961. Jorge was a former mechanic for the Department of Public Works in Lodi. He was a member of the Elizabethtown Gun Club, the NRA and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dear brother of Filomena Aur. Cherished uncle of Christina Aur and her husband Jean Paul Mendez and a great uncle of Jianna, Juliana and Jordyn. Jorge is also survived by his Goddaughter, Marion Lortz and many cousins. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church Lodi on Friday, May 21st at 9:30 AM. (All to meet at church). Interment following at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visitation Thursday, May 20th from 4-8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights.
