Joseph Gabriel David Feehan left this world on Friday August 12, 2022, at the age of 64.
Joe was born in Jersey City, NJ and grew up in Rutherford, NJ. He graduated from St. Mary High School and Jersey City State. He was an accountant who earned his CPA, and he worked for National Grid Utility in Brooklyn, NY. Joe was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Joe is survived by his loving and devoted wife Ruth Feehan; loving daughters Gillian Feehan and her fiancé Dan Shilitz, and Emily Menendez and her boyfriend Ryan Wheeler; brothers Michael Feehan (Marie), Gregory Feehan (Veronica), and Felix Feehan (Patricia); and sister JoAnn Tiedemann. Joe is also survived by his mothers-in-law Mary Jane Dittmar and Ingrid Berner, as well as his 17-year-old dog Snoopy. In addition, Joe was a cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Joe was predeceased by his first wife Maria Dittmar-Feehan; his parents Mary (Danielczik) and Joseph Feehan, he was their youngest son; his brother Stephen and his sister Natalie; and his aunts Anna and Helie, who helped raise him.
His family and friends will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard & Central Ave., Hasbrouck Heights from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the funeral home at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. A Celebration of Life for Joe will follow after the cemetery.
