Josephine A. Zorat (nee DeSanti) 81, of Moonachie passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Born in New York City to the late Lillian and Vincenzo DeSanti. Before retiring, Josephine was a kitchen manager for Canteen Compass for the Bergen County Special Services School District. She loved cooking for family and friends, celebrating the holidays and the Feast of St. Joseph. She lived with a kindness in her heart to continuously help others. Beloved wife of the late Dario Zorat. Devoted mother of Lisa Petrowski and her husband Philip, Lucretia Zorat, Joseph Zorat and his wife Lori, Mary Benevenga and her husband James and the late Anne Zorat. Dear sister of Diane Cascio and Mary Toto. Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Joseph and Vincent.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, May 20th at 8:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church Little Ferry at 9:30 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Friday, May 19th from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
