Josette Schneider (nee Proscia) 64, of Rochelle Park formerly of Lodi passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Josette is survived by her Loving husband and Best friend of 40 plus years Mike Schneider, her children the loves of her life, Brian Schneider and his wife Emily and Kelly Saccone and her husband John. Cherished grandmother of Connor Schneider and Paige Saccone. Beloved daughter of Andrew and the late Josephine Proscia. Dear sister of Andrew Proscia and his wife Sue and Mark Proscia. Her very close niece, April and her son Daniel. Her best friend of 58 years Karen and many family-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Josette worked as a bank auditor for 13 years before staying at home after having two wonderful children. She coached and helped out with their many sports in addition to being a Girl Scout Leader and PTA member. She enjoyed being around for them and their friends. Josette went back to work as a teacher's assistant for special needs children for the South Bergen Jointure Commission for 20 years.
She loved traveling with her husband Mike, her family and friends especially to Disney. She enjoyed to live life to the fullest and always made the best out of every situation. Josette will miss family more than anything and will always love and watch over them.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, May 19th at 9:15 AM. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Sacred Heart in Rochelle Park at 10:30 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Sunday, May 18th from 1 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
