Kathleen R. Spendley (nee Sweeney) 93, of West Caldwell formerly of Columbus, Northvale and Dumont passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Born in New York City to the late Mary and Anthony Sweeney. Before retiring, Kathleen was a travel agent. Beloved wife of the late Robert Spendley. Devoted mother of Michael Spendley and his wife Christine, Robert Spendley and his wife Nance, Christopher Spendley and his wife Marilyn, Jeffrey Spendley and his wife Ann and Thomas Spendley and his wife Carole. Dear sister of the late Joan Robb. Loving grandmother of Jason and his wife Monica, Bryan and his wife Lynsi, Alana and her partner Meghan, Tara, Matthew, Rebecca and her fiance Matthew, Nicholas, Anna, Jessica and the late Caitlin and Sean. Cherished great grandmother of Shawn and Mack.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, April 14th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church 400 Maywood Avenue in Maywood at 10 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Monday, April 13th from 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
