Kenneth E. Bransfield 81, of Maywood passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born in Jersey City to the late Helen and Edward Bransfield. Ken was a graduate of St. John's University where he received his Bachelors Degree. Before retiring, he was a pharmacist at Mount Sinai Medical Center and previously at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital both in New York City. He was a faithful parishioner of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Rochelle Park, a member of the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus Council # 2842 and the Cursillo. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Heffernan) Bransfield. Cousin of Jackie Dessel and Jennifer and Daniel Young. Dear brother-in-law of Eileen and Jim Rochford, Claire and Nat Galletta, Thomas Heffernan, Ann and Ron Schabilon and the late John Heffernan, Gail Cruwell, Raymond Heffernan, Robert Heffernan and Mark Heffernan. Loving uncle of Jack, Mark, Robin, Missy, Matt, George and Kathy, Eileen and Mike, R.V., Megan and Rob, Jim and Shannon, Amanda, Robert, John, Alice, Hailee, Kaitlin and James, Erin, Hannah and the late Matthew. Ken is also survived by his greatnieces and nephews, Erica, Julia, James, Riley, Brendan, Ava, Mia, Gianna, Hailee, Emily, Payton and Leah. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and St. John's.

Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Sacred Heart 12 Terrace Avenue in Rochelle Park on Saturday, March 29th at 11 AM. (All to meet at church). Private cremation will follow. Visitation Friday, March 28th from 4 - 8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.
