Kenneth James Klug
JULY 25, 1943 – DECEMBER 6, 2022
Kenneth James Klug, age 79, of Canton, GA and Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Kenneth was born to the late James Klug and the late Agnes Poth Klug on July 25, 1943, in the Bronx, New York. Kenneth was a wonderful, kind person who was truly liked by all. His humble and supportive nature openly showed others how loving he was. His tremendous work ethic was passed down to his daughters and, in turn, their children as well. He was a proud US Navy Veteran and his career in communications spanned 40 years. Kenneth found joy in electronics, sailing, car shows and traveling. He will be missed by those whose lives he touched. Kenneth was preceded by his parents, James Klug, Agnes Poth Taylor, and George Taylor; and his wife, Mercedes Rose Klug. His memory will be cherished by his companion, Eleanor Fevola; daughters, Christie Rice (Peter) of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and Elizabeth Allocca (John) of Fair Lawn, NJ; grandchildren, Meghan, Brian, Drew, and Hailey; sister, Nancy Shail (Raymond); nieces, Dana and Margot; nephew, Matthew; and other extended family members. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 3 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 1208 Rose Creek Drive Woodstock, GA. A Mass will be offered on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11 AM at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604 followed by inurnment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Memorial visitation on Saturday January 14th from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Kenneth's memory to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at www.gslutheran.org/donate or by calling 770-924-7286.
