Laurence P. "Lonny" Donohue 81, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. Born in New York City to the late Eugene and Bridget Jane Donohue. He was an Army veteran serving from 1961-1963. Before retiring, Lonny was a bus driver for N.J. Transit for forty-one years. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, a volunteer Fireman for twenty-seven years where he served as their secretary and treasurer and a member of the Exempt Firemen Association, he was active in coaching Jr. Football, Little league and Basketball and an avid fan of the Aviators all in Hasbrouck Heights and a member of the Brass Club. Beloved husband of fifty-years to Mary Ann (nee Pyskaty) Donohue. Devoted father of Jodi Bernet and her husband Phil and Brian Donohue and his wife Jaime. Dear brother of Maureen Gennarelli and her late husband Dante, James Donohue and his wife Phyllis, Phyllis Hodge, Loretta Donohue and the late Eugene Donohue and his late wife Vera, Edward and Patricia Donohue. Loving grandfather of Morgan Bernet, Kaleigh Bernet, Avery Donohue, Alexa Bernet and Keira Donohue. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Ed Hayward. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, January 8th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church  at 10 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Thursday, January 7th from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
