Lidia "Laly" Amendolagine (nee Avendano), 98, of Little Ferry, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Tony Amendolagine. Devoted mother of Gilda Parthesius and her husband Robert. Loving grandmother "Meema" of Danielle. Cherished aunt and a Great aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alberto and Antonia Avendano and three older brothers, Alberto Jr., Enrico, and Michael Angelo. Laly was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed social gatherings, dancing, and a glass of red wine. Before retiring she was employed as a seamstress for custom shirtmakers in New York City. She will be greatly missed and forever be known as "Meema" to many. Her greatest joy in life was her precious granddaughter Danielle. Visitation Sunday, April 18th from 2-4 PM with a Service at 3:30 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights. Private cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
