Lois A. Duerr (nee Parkerton) 93, of Emerson formerly of Toms River and Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Born in Hackensack to the late Irene and Arthur J. Parkerton. Before retiring, Lois was a secretary. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hasbrouck Heights where she served on the Altar Guild, a member of the choir and W.E.L.C.A. Lois was also the resident  Ambassador at Brookdale Assisted Living in Emerson. Beloved wife of the late Ralph G. Duerr. Devoted mother of Ralph G. Duerr, Jr. and his wife Donna, Dr. Andrew Duerr and his wife Sung and Crystal Eyerkuss and her husband Steven. Dear sister of the late Arthur Parkerton. Loving grandmother of Alyssa Hatler and her husband Brandon, Deanna Scheideler and her husband Louis and Matthew Eyerkuss and his wife Najah. Cherished great grandmother of  Shaleigh Frederick, Kayleigh Frederick, Emma Hatler, Dylan Hatler, Ella Mae Scheideler. Lois is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, March 19th at 9 AM. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Reverend Susan Nelson-Colaneri officiating. Entombment following at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Visitation Monday, March 18th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
