Louis M. Maresca 72, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Born in Jersey City to the late Eleanor B. and Louis P. Maresca. Lou was a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. Before retiring, he was an accountant for Joseph Cory Holdings, LLC. in Secaucus. Lou was a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department where he served as a former Captain for the Hook & Ladder Co. and was a member of the Exempt Firemen Association. Beloved husband of Pam (nee Topping) Maresca. Devoted father of his daughter Stephanie Schermond and her husband Jay, of his daughter Kristen Genchi and her husband Mike, and of his son Michael Maresca. Cherished Poppie of Ryan, Christopher, Samantha and Matthew. Dear brother of the late Robert Maresca. Loving nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, and "second father" to so many he held dear. Visitation Sunday May 29th from 1-5 PM with a prayer service at 4:30 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights. Private cremation will follow. For safety purposes, a mask should be worn at the funeral home.
